Stephen is a subject matter expert and thought leader providing consulting, advisory and strategic M&A services to participants in the North American property and casualty insurance ecosystem covering insurance information technology, claims, innovation, supply chain, vendor, and performance management.
As Senior Advisor to StoneRidge Advisors, an investment banking and advisory firm exclusively focused on insurance claims and services, he is working with the firm to expand their insruance technology M&A advisory and consulting services. Previously, Stephen was Senior Analyst, Property and Casualty Insurance, at Aite Group and prior to that was President of ClaimForce, a web-based insurance claims technology, supply chain management, and outsourced services provider serving North American property and casualty insurance clients and their trading partners in the automobile and property segments. He was a Senior Vice President at ADP CLaims Services (now AudaExplore, a Solera company) and previously enjoyed a successful career with CCC Information Services where he was a member of the senior management team. Mr. Applebaum is a frequent chairman, guest speaker and panelist at insurance industry conferences and a contributor to major insurance industry publications. He has a strong passion for coaching, mentoring, business process innovation and constructive transformation, applying disruptive technology, and managing organizational change in the North American property and casualty insurance industry and trading partner communities. |
Sean Carey, principle of SCG Management Consultants, has over 30 years' experience in the automotive industry. A mechanical engineer by trade, he embarked on his sales and marketing career with the UK's largest parts distribution company during which time he earned a degree in marketing from the Charted Institute of Marketing. In 1991, Sean joined Nissan at its London headquarters where he created, launched and managed Nissan's Certified Collision Repair Program. in 1995, Sean moved to the USA where he established Carter & Carter International and managed its development and growth into a leading automotive consulting firm. In 2004, Sean joined the Fix Auto organization where he was jointly responsible for the spinoff of CynCast, an automotive claims and collision repair IT company. As V.P. of Sales and Marketing, he grew the business from concept to its current position as one of the key IT companies in the space with blue chip clients and over 10,000 collision repair locations having implemented the technology.
In 2009, Sean established SCG Management Consulting LLC. Since establishing SCG, Sean has consulted at the highest level with all sectors of the automotive claims industry and has a keen understanding of the needs of insurers, repairers, OEMs, rental companies, technology providers, and a wide range of industry supply chain vendors. Sean is respected in the industry as a strategic visionary and a leader in growing businesses and markets from concept to implementation. Sean lives in Chicago with his wife and four children and, when not working or golfing, is president of a local charity for special-needs children, BASV, a football coach in his local community, and still enjoys an occasional "run out" with the local over-40 football team. |
Ken Eagleson currently serves as principle for SuccessData, LLC, a consulting firm primarily dedicated to serving the property and casualty insurance industry and the auto physical damage space. Included in the firm's areas of expertise are claims and underwriting data initiatives, management consulting for sales and account management needs, product management, claims consulting, and the use of sales "sucess stories" to increase the close rates of professional sales teams.
Mr. Eagleson has previously served as Vice President of Data Acquisition at CARFAX and as Vice Presicent Business Development at Comsearch, Inc. He is recognized as a Property and Casualty Claims Information Technology subject matter expert, with insight into the related industry supply chain and data initiatives. Mr. Eagleson was previously Vice President, National Accounts at Audatex and Group Vice President, Insurance Services at Mitchell International, holding these positions since 2001. These organizations provide custom software and SaaS solutions; web-enabled workflow solutions and consulting services for property and casualty carriers and their supply chain partners. In his roles, Mr. Eagleson directed all customers facing activity for new and existing clients. He management acumen and industry knowledge has led to continued year-over-year success. Throughout his career, Mr. Eagleson has delivered significant and measurable bottom-line benefits including improved insurer cycle times, reduction in operational costs and improved customer service measurements. Most recently, Mr. Eagleson has concentrated on data initiatives leading to improved results in claims processing, more accurate underwriting/rating, and enhanced product marketing benefitting policyholders. His experience is well balanced among account management, consultative sales, marketing, product management, and senior-level management positions. Mr. Eagleson holds a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Economics from the University of New Hampshire. He resides in Sandy Hood, Connecticut, with his wife and two children. |
Jason Schneiderman currently serves as the Managing Consultant at Coreclusion, LLC, a technology consulting firm focusing on providing business-oriented IT strategic planning, business process re-engineering, and workflow-based application implementation to the collision, insurance and financial industries.
Mr. Schneiderman has over 30 years of senior management, project management, business analysis, and system design experience within a wide range of industries from collision repair to manufacturing, finance and insurance. His initiatives have varied from development of an IT strategic plan for a major collision repair chain to IT strategic planning and workflow-based application design and implementation for automotive-related third-party administrators, property and casualty insurance firms, and retail financial firms. Through the application of a consistent business and technology approach, his clients have realized a return of 15 to 20 percent from his efforts. The firm’s focus has been on identification of the key business drivers and requirements, enhancement of the business processes, and support and automation of those processes through cost-effective technology. Mr. Schneiderman began his career with Andersen Consulting (predecessor to Accenture) and has since held a variety of positions including Principal, Managing Consultant, and COO for a variety of technology and consulting firms prior to establishing Coreclusion. Throughout his career he has advocated a business focused technology approach that leverages engineering tools and financial analysis to establish a competitive advantage through the effective application of technology to business. Mr. Schneiderman holds a BA and MBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Rochester. |
